In ‘Paathshaala’, Shahid Kapoor plays the role of a new English teacher in a school which has maintained high standards of excellence under the direction of the principal, played by Nana Patekar. The interplay between societal constraints, children’s rebellion, and the characters’ personal beliefs form the premise of this film.
